What will happen in the future with the Hornets?
If the Hornets cannot get a new arena in downtown Charlotte will they move?
That seems to be a big question in Charlotte although poor attendance at home games
would not back that theory up. Co-owners Shinn and Woolworth are trying desperately to
work a deal out with the city for a new arena in downtown Charlotte.
Playing at the current coliseum is not feasible because there are only 6 sky boxes (compared
to an average of around 60 or 70 for other arenas around the country).
It is highly unlikely that the Hornets would relocate to another city but in this day and age
you never say never.
