Hornet's History

The Hornet's were initiated to the NBA in 1988 and it didn't take long for them to realize
it would be a long road to have a successful team. The Hornets suffered miserably with many
mediocre players such as Muggsy Bogues, Dell Curry, David Reid, and Kelly Tripuka.

However the Hornets got lucky in the lottery of the draft and within four years of its birth
boasted talents such as Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson. The Hornets are no strangers
to talent. Great players such as Kendall Gill, Hersey Hawkins, Glen Rice,
and Kenny Anderson have played alongside Mourning and Johnson. However all of these
players were traded away and the team now consists of stars Eddie Jones, Elden Campbell,
Anthony Mason, and Derrick Coleman. The Hornets also have quickly rising
stars in Ricky and Baron Davis and Eddie Robinson. This team is definitely exciting to watch.
